These sample card were rumored to be given to select card shops and TCG game store owners to preview the upcoming TCG, Yu-Gi-Oh, in 2002! It is very possible these samples were the first cards in Yu-Gi-Oh to ever be released, even before decks and booster boxes. Who even knows if PSA will continue to grade these in the future?
